About Holmes

We are pleased to announce that Holmes was adopted on April 19, 2023
Although initially a shy kitten, in his time during our care Holmes blossomed into one of the most loving and sweet cats! Gone was the cat who hid in his cat tree all day, instead replaced with a kitten who begged for belly rubs, and chased his roommate all around the room all day! In his new home, we hope Holmes continues to blossom and gain confidence, and learn that it is full of love for him!
Hi there, I'm Holmes! I arrived here with my buddy Watson from Lethbridge, and now I'm looking for a forever home all of my own. It's been a lot of commotion getting here, so it took me some time to adjust to my new environment. Once I realized I'm safe, I became a sweet little cat! I can be a bit nervous and hissy at first, but I'm all talk and wouldn't harm a fly. I'd love some belly rubs and chin scratches in my hidey hole and it will get my purr going! I am still young, and I can't wait to experience the world with some loving and patient humans. I am comforted by having other cats around, so a calm and confident resident feline at home would be great for me. But I would be okay without too. Or, if you're looking for a pair, Watson and I are pretty cute together! I have a beautiful flame point colouring, and silky soft fur. The real me is very playful and silly, and I love chasing my cat friends all over my room and play wrestling with them. If you think you'll be getting a shy and quiet kitty, think again, because the real me is spunky and energetic! I can't wait to find a stable and loving forever home!
