About Oso

We are pleased to announce that Oso was adopted on Jan. 21, 2022
Oh so cute, oh so charismatic, and oh so chunky, giant Oso has settled into his new home! This larger-than-life cat (in physical size and personality alike) found a great home to join, where he will work on shedding a few pounds, and getting all the snuggles he can!
Hi there, I'm Oso. The first thing you'll notice about me is that I am VERY plump, so I'm going to need a home that will be committed to helping me slim down. That means diet food, and lots of exercise. Other than my size, I am actually in good health, especially for my age. Once you get past my size, you'll come to know that I am a very sweet and loving boy! I love a good head scratch and am very motivated by affection. I even slept in bed with my foster while I was there, and followed her all around the house observing her going-ons. I could really do with a home committed to helping me become more healthy, and to love me for my sweet nature! There's sure a lot of me to love!!!

Oso was in a foster home for some time, and here's what his foster had to say about him: "Oso is a big boy with a big personality. He was shy at first but as he got more comfortable with me and his surroundings he became such a sweetheart. He's such a cuddly cat. He will sleep with me all night long, roll around on the ground for belly rubs and attention, and he loves to sit on my lap too. Oso is also quite the talker. As soon as you get home you're greeted with tons of meows and you can just tell he's excited you're back. He meows when he wants to come up on the bed and when he wants food or attention. He put a smile on my face every day."
