About Serena

We are pleased to announce that Serena was adopted on Oct. 13, 2018
Serena is our special kitten. She was found abandoned on the side of the highway. She is a motor when she purrs and a ball of energy when she plays! She loves sitting on our desks and playing with anything she can get her little paws on. However, we can never get mad at her because of her big green eyes and doll-like face. Once she is done running all over and adorably disrupting our work, she loves to roll onto her back with all 4 legs stretched out into the air and fall asleep.

Sadly, Serena has a severe heart murmur and we are not yet sure what the prognosis is at this time. Until we have more information, Serena is happily spending her days with Jax. They instantly connected and spend their days playing, running all over and resting together. This relationship is helping Jax in his recovery by building muscle strength and encouraging him to get up and move around even more. As for Serena, Jax is a big brother to her and she loves messing with him. She is living a very stress-free and fun life. Keep checking back for updates on our little girl.

UPDATE: Serena has seen the cardiologist and has been given a clean bill of health! Her murmur is a result of a fairly insignificant heart defect that will not affect lifespan or future treatment. She is scheduled for her spay October 5th and is now available for adoption! While we would love to see her and Jax go together, as they have become best of friends, Serena may be adopted on her own as well. If you are interested please don't hesitate to contact us today!
