Sausage

My name is Sausage! I am a goofball through and through. I balance it out with my sweet and happy demeanor! I am working on fine tuning my manners, and am on my way to becoming the perfect gentleman. While I can be slightly hesitant of certain new people, I warm up quickly, and once I get to know you I love being around people more than anything and want all the attention! I may have been used as a bait dog in dog fighting in the past (I've got scars indicative of this type of past), so I could really use a positive environment with some patient kind-hearted humans. I am still ok with most canines, but I need to feel safe first or I can get a overwhelmed. I am prone to getting jealous of other four-legged creatures though (I just want all the snuggles for myself!), so I think I would like to be the only dog in the home, or with someone home often to monitor our interactions while I adjust to having a doggie sibling. I can't wait to find some great humans to be active with, as I love romping around and playing fetch. I am excited to meet my new family and to have a loving home to call my own!
