Leash Lovers Dog Training Program

The class takes place on July 25, 2018.

Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs while on-leash? But he’s perfectly fine when off-leash?

Frustrated? Embarrassed? Feel like giving up? Learn how to manage your dog's behavior, identify his triggers and help him associate other dogs with good things! Get your dog to love being on leash again!

This class is a controlled environment that will give you the tools you need to decrease stress for both you and your dog. The training methods employed are 100% force-free and dog-friendly.

The course will be held at the Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The cost is $40. This course is for dogs 6 months or older.

Our dog training programs are designed to fit into an overall educational effort to help dog owners to have healthy and positive dog/people relationships. This effort starts with regular free seminars offered by the Bow Valley SPCA on “How To Choose A Puppy”. The next stage, and one encouraged by the Bow Valley SPCA is puppy socialization. The Canmore Veterinary Hospital and Bow River Veterinary Center offer complimentary classes to their clients.
