Hi there, I'm Friskie! I arrived to the BVSPCA from a rescue in Saskatchewan after being found feral. Although I can be timid when first meeting people, if you break down my shy exterior, you'll come to find that I am an affectionate and loving guy who just needs a little bit of encouragement to be brave. I am extremely gentle, and have been described as a puppy dog with how I like to roll over for belly rubs and chin scratches. With people I know and trust, I love being held like a baby in your arms, and will hop up for lap snuggles. I'm good living with other cats, although I can be a bit standoffish at first - it's just because I'm timid and like my own space while I settle in and get used to my new surroundings. Dogs are another story, I am absolutely terrified of them, so I'd like a home without those slobbery beasts! In a home, you'll see my true colours which are sweet-natured and kind, and I can't wait to find a patient home that will let my bravery blossom!

Do I Need Special Care?: Yes, I have a history of idiopathic nystagmus (my eyes tremble for no known reason). I am not on medication currently, but will need routine veterinary visits to make sure I'm staying healthy.
