2024 Annual Bottle Drive

It’s that time of year again! Our annual bottle drive will run April 1st to 15th. During this time you can donate your refundable recyclables to the Bow Valley SPCA, the funds from which will help abandoned, stray and surrendered dogs and cats.

On Saturday April 6th and Saturday April 13th, our amazing volunteer crew will be doing residential pickups throughout the Bow Valley. So start saving your bottles, cans, milk cartons, and juice containers for dogs and cats in need of your support!

If you are part of a business that would like to participate, please send an email to volunteers@bowvalleyspca.org and we will arrange a pickup date/time that suits your schedule.

Alternatively, we have permanent accounts at both the Canmore Bottle Depot and the Banff Green Bottle Depot, so if you're able to bring your refundables to either depot any time of the year, simply ask for the returns to be donated to our account. Every bit helps us to save more dogs and cats and connect them with their forever families.

We can't wait for another successful Bottle Drive for your local homeless furry friends!

Please note that we are NOT accepting drop-offs at the Adoption Centre. Please do not leave bags at our property or outside the gate. Our dogs get very excited at the idea of packages, and will get into any boxes or bags that are left, which is a hazard to them. Help keep our dogs safe by scheduling a pick-up or taking your bottles to the depot directly.
