Bella

Hi there, I'm Bella! I am a sweet middle aged lady who wants nothing more than some people to love me and give me belly rubs, some catnip to roll around in, and a couch to lounge on. You may notice that I'm a more... voluptuous lady. It's true I've got a little extra cushioning, so a diet and some increased exercise would do me some good. I am sweet as sugar, and a lover of most things - other cats, kids, even dogs seem okay! I'll fit in well in most households. A funny quirk about me is that I love to rip up paper bags. I don't eat them, I just like shredding them, I think it's therapeutic for me! I was surrendered due to inappropriate urination, but it was discovered that I have bladder stones which likely caused me to pee outside the box because I was in pain. I'm on a special diet to dissolve the stones, and since coming into the shelter I've been consistently using the litterbox. My new home should be prepared to keep me on a urinary diet to prevent future crystals, and to give me some grace if I have the odd accident outside the box - but I'm trying really hard not to! I'm easy to fall in love with, so come on down to meet me, and see for yourself!
