About Chester Cattington

We are pleased to announce that Chester Cattington was adopted on March 6, 2026
Chester Cattington, our regal yet tenderhearted gentleman, has officially found his forever home! And in the sweetest twist, he was adopted by the foster who has loved him all along. After a rocky patch in life, Chester longed for the gentle care and quiet stability he once knew. In his foster home, he found exactly that: calm routines, consistent adoration, and a human who understood his affectionate nature, and his preference for being the only pampered feline in the castle. Despite some medical needs, Chester never stopped offering love, kindness, and companionship. His foster stepped up to support him on his journey, and now they’ve made it official. We couldn’t imagine a happier ending for this dignified, loving boy. He is right where he belongs, surrounded by the comfort, devotion, and quality time he adores!
Hello I'm Chester Cattington, or Cat for short. I am a regal guy, but I'm far from pretentious! I've had a bit of a rocky go, but I came from a very loving home, so I am looking for the same standard of care with my next family. I think a quiet house would be best for me; one with tiny humans running around might cause me to retreat. I am super loving, affectionate and kind, as well as a sensitive and gentle soul. I do love humans, so a home with lots of quality time sounds nice to me. I would prefer to be the only furry companion, or to live with ones that won't pick on me, as I can become easily overwhelmed. I've have spent the first 8 years of my life in a home, so the quicker I find a new one the better!

Dog-friendly: No
Cat-friendly: Yes but would prefer a home without
Kid-friendly: Yes, but would prefer a home without
Do I Need Special Care?: Yes, I have Stomatitis and will require ongoing oral care in the form of brushing and dental check-ups, however most of my teeth have already been extracted due to this condition, so there are only a couple left to care for! I also have a history of urinary crystals and am on a special urinary diet that I should stay on lifelong. Lastly, I have a heart murmur, but tests show that my heart is functioning properly, so my murmur is likely due to a congenital defect. No additional care is required at this time for the murmur.
