We are pleased to announce that Magic was adopted on May 3, 2025

Sweet Magic had a rough start to life, having been an outdoor stray and fighting for survival. When Magic arrived to us as a transfer from another rescue, he was healing from numerous abscessed bite wounds covering his body, and a tail amputation due to frostbite. Thankfully, he was well on the road to recovery, and all that was left was to find a loving forever home. A quirky guy with a hilarious personality, we knew that he might not be the cat for everyone, but for the right person, his oddly adorable antics would quickly win them over. There was certainly some magic in the air when Magic met his new guardian, and we could tell that there was an instant, special connection that formed. Now living in beautiful BC, Magic took no time at all to settle into his new home, and we’re so happy that he’ll only know the comforts of a loving home from now on.

My name is Magic, and I hope to put a spell on you with my lovable and charming purrsonality! You may notice I look a little rough - you see I was attacked badly by other cats while living outside by myself, so I needed to receive medical attention to treat large abscesses and bite wounds throughout my body. I'm all healed up, but my fur hasn't quite grown back in yet. Rest assured, it will grow back over time and I'll be back to my most handsome self. I also had a partial tail amputation due to frostbite, but I'm feeling great and ready to find a nice home! The staff say I'm more like a dog-cat; I follow people around, aren't shy about asking for belly rubs, and might even give you little love-nips when I'm happy. I have major FOMO and like to be right in the middle of the action, so I'm looking for a home that has lots of attention to give me! I think I'd make an awesome adventure kitty as I'm curious, bold, and confident. After a rough life on the streets, I'm ready to trade it in for the comforts of home life.
