Marshmallow

Hey, we're Marshmallow and Candy, a quirky yet sweet bonded pair of cats looking for a loving home where we can stay together. We're both very skittish and scared, so we lean on one another for support. I arrived as the more nervous of the pair, but if you take the time to get to know me slowly and, on my terms, with my trusted people I have really warmed up to affection and love a head scratch. I've even started showing a playful side around my trusted friends! I'm a funny little guy, with a silly 'haircut' that almost looks like bangs. Despite my at-times prickly exterior, I really am a big marshmallow inside and can't wait to show my gooey lovey side! We'll need a home that comes with lots of patience, but in the right environment, our true purrsonalities will be able to shine through!

Kid-friendly: Somewhat, calm respectful older kids recommended due to semi-feral history and timid tendencies
Do I Need Special Care?: I have been quite itchy around my face and ears, so my veterinarian would like me to do a food trial of a hypoallergenic diet. It can take several months to determine whether it is having an effect, so if I am adopted in this period, my new home may wish to continue with this diet trial under the guidance of a veterinarian. I may or may not benefit from a hypoallergic diet lifelong.
