Big in size AND in personality, Maximus sure lived up to his name. His jumbo-sized heart (and purr) made him stand out quickly to his adopters, where he headed off to a lifetime of belly rubs and pampering. Although a diet is in his future, we know his larger-than-life attitude will never be shrunk!

Hey there, I'm Maximus, or Maxi for short! I know what you're thinking - I'm a BIG boy. I've got a larger-than-life purrsonality to match my stature, and I'm excited to find a new great home! I was loved prior to coming to the shelter, but due to no fault of mine, I'm on the hunt for a new home to join. I've got a purr as big as the rest of me, which is sure to start going as soon as you give me a head scratch or a belly rub. I'm just like a dog, and I'll flop on over to request more belly rubs. I'll take 'em for as long as you've got! A diet and some exercise could be in my future, to help me be my best self for the rest of my days. I'm easy going, friendly with other kitties, and the best buddy for kicking back on the couch for some Netflix and snuggles. There's lots of me to love, so come on down to meet me, I'm sure you'll be smitten!
