My name is Morris. Are you ready for my heartbreak tale? I am an older gent and I was living with my best friend (the human kind). Unfortunately, he passed away. It caught me quite off guard and I miss him a lot. Luckily, he has some good friends in town who put in a solid effort to get me somewhere safe (I didn't make it easy on them...I didn't want to leave my home). Now that I am at the SPCA I am starting to feel a bit better. The staff are being really lovely and giving me my space to come around. I like to keep them on their toes... a little rub and a purr against their legs, followed by a little hiss to remind them I've still got some attitude (don't worry, my hiss is worse than my scratch). I can usually be persuaded to approach you if you have some temptations treats though! I am very chatty, with lots of stories to tell you. I would love a quiet home with someone to love again, that can help me to trust again after trauma and heartbreak. If you want a quiet guy to sit with and maybe watch a bird outside the window now and again, come on down to meet me! I'm a simple cat looking for a peaceful life.
