Mr. Bones

Hi, I'm Mr. Bones. I got my name because I was a scared, super-skinny guy when I was first rescued, but thanks to lots of love, care, and snaaaaaacks, I've really turned a corner! Now I'm a gentle giant with a little extra belly to adore.

I can be wary of pets coming from above my head, likely as a result of my past experiences. I much prefer scritches and snuggles that come from the side or under my chin so I don't get startled. I also have the most adorable little head-waggle when I get excited, and I hope you get to see it someday!

I'm a super sweet guy who loves to play with trusted friends. My favorite games are chase and wrestle, and I get along wonderfully with all the cats I've met. I'm thrilled to make even more buddies here at the Centre.

I'm looking for a calm, loving home with people who appreciate my quirks and understand just how special I am. If that sounds like you, I'd be over the moon to meet you soon!

Do I Need Special Care?: I have a shorter tail due to a past frostbite injury that required amputation, and I walk with a bit of a wobble from old trauma to my neck and spine. I'm fully healed now and these things just left me with a few quirky leftovers! The vets say I could benefit from a little weight loss now that I've reached a healthy size again!
