About Sir Wally Lionheart
Hi there! I'm Sir Wally Lionheart, and it's true I have a heart as big as a lion's with SO much love to give! I was previously found living outdoors in Calgary, but I've made my way to the Bow Valley SPCA in hope's of finding my purrfect kingdom to rule over. In true orange tabby fashion, I like to be the center of attention, and will tell you so with my chatty meows! I'd make the perfect work-from-home buddy (as long as you don't ACTUALLY want to get that much work done...), with a special affinity for lying on top of keyboards and nibbling on the end of pens. I love affection, and aren't shy to ask for snuggles! With my fluffy feather-duster tail, handsome mane, and truly charming personality, I'm sure to be a heartstopper at the Adoption Centre, so don't wait to come down and meet me!
Dog-friendly: Untested, likely ok
Cat-friendly: Yes
Kid-friendly: Yes
Do I Need Special Care?: I arrived with a limp on one of my front paws. After several avenues of diagnostics, it's been determined that I most likely have nerve damage from a previous injury/fall, causing my elbow to collapse inward when I step on that foot. Although it doesn't appear to cause me any pain (and I still love to run, climb, and play!), my adopter should continue to monitor for any changes throughout my lifetime and follow up with a veterinarian if needed. I don't let my funny gait slow me down!
