About Sundae

We are pleased to announce that Sundae was adopted on April 8, 2026
After two years of patiently waiting for her perfect person to find her, Sundae has finally hit the jackpot! A lovely, playful, and spirited young lady, she was always a favourite among BVSPCA staff and volunteers, and a total crowd‑pleaser with visitors. Despite all the love she received, she just couldn’t seem to make that special connection with the right family to call her own. That all changed recently when her new family stopped by the Centre and absolutely fell in love with her exuberant playfulness and loving head‑bonks. It was just the match we’d all been waiting for! Now Sundae is off to her new home, ready to spread love and sunshine wherever she goes. We know she’ll be showered with affection, adventure, and endless spring-toy playtime. We couldn’t be happier for our sweet Sundae!
Hi there, I'm Sundae! Did you know cats can play fetch? I can! Toss a spring toy in my room, and I'll bolt after it with the cutest chirps and, if I'm feeling in the mood, I'll bring it right back to you for the next toss. I love to play! I arrived to the BVSPCA with my mom and my two siblings, who have since found their homes. With my looks and purrsonality I know my amazing forever home isn't far off! I am a petite and dainty little lady who has lots of love to share for someone that will give me time to come out of my shell. I can be a little bit shy on first meeting you, but if you approach me slowly, you'll see how much I love receiving affection! I'll lean right in to the scritchies, and I'll even reward you with a purr. I have super soft fur, and the sweetest little pink nose and toe beans to match. I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which you can read more about in the "care notes" below. The longer I'm here, the braver I've become, and I think in no time I'll be soaking up all the affection you'll give me. I think I'm a secret snugglebug - you'll have to take me home and find out for yourself!

Dog-friendly: Yes, I LOVE dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy in my new home!
Cat-friendly: Yes (additional considerations due to being FIV positive)
Kid-friendly: Yes
Do I Need Special Care?: I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a condition that may lead to a weakened immune system. I will need regular veterinary visits to make sure I am staying healthy. The staff can tell you more about what it means to adopt a cat that is FIV positive, but you should know that FIV positive cats can lead long and healthy lives!
