Hi, I'm Tobias! I'm not your run-of-the-mill orange boy. While I adjust to all the new sights, sounds, and people here at the shelter, I'm currently leaning a little more towards spice than sweetness. The big, wide world feels pretty scary right now, and I'm still deciding who can be trusted. At the moment, I'd prefer to be admired from a distance rather than be touched or fussed over.

Despite this first impression, the rescue I came from has assured the staff that underneath my cautious exterior is a total softie just waiting to emerge. In fact, they eventually came to know me as a "certified belly-rub enthusiast"! With a little time, patience, and understanding, the team here is hopeful I'll realize that people can be kind, safe, and worthy of the very special privilege of rubbing my belly.

I am one half of a bonded pair, alongside my gorgeous calico soulmate, Lady. She's my comfort, my confidence, and my favourite companion, so we'll need to find a forever home together. If you're willing to open your heart to two cats who may take a little time to settle in, you'll be rewarded with a truly special bond. We might not be the kind of cats who fit right in overnight, but for the right family, we'll surely be well worth the wait!
