Love is in the air, and we thought it would be a great month to give the opportunity to spread that love to the Bow Valley SPCA resident dogs and cats.
From February 1st to 13th, you can purchase one of three Valentine's Day gifts to send directly to our animal residents. Not only will the proceeds go to helping dogs and cats in need at the BVSPCA, but they will also get to celebrate Valentine's Day with a heart, card or cookie because of you!
Choose from one of three gift options, including:
- Paper Hearts ($10 each): colorful hearts with a sweet word. Heart colors and words are randomly selected for each animal.
- Valentine's Cards ($15 each): choose from 11 adorable designs. See below for the available options.
- Treat-grams ($20 each): a dog or cat friendly candy-gram, made by 'Give Love Pet Confectionery'. Only available online for gifting to BVSPCA dogs and cats.
Remember when sending a gift to select the BVSPCA dog or cat that you wish to address the paper heart and/or card to. Check out our card design options below!

*Please note that online orders are available for purchase for BVSPCA resident animals only. If you would like hearts or cards for personal gifting, they are available for in-person purchase at the BVSPCA Centre, Canmore Veterinary Hospital, Bow River Veterinary Clinic and Mountain Animal Hospital.
