BVSPCA Volunteer Nominees

This year, the Bow Valley SPCA proudly nominated five dedicated individuals for the Mayor’s Volunteer Celebration: Linda Stenger, Peter O'Brien, Derek Weinberger, Andrew Alderson, and Selena McNeilly. Each of these volunteers has shown exceptional dedication and compassion through their work with our Cat Centric Team.

From providing enrichment and socialization to our feline residents (and in particular, those who might be fearful, feral, or sick), doing the dirty work like weekly deep cleans of our litterboxes, to assisting with community outreach and volunteer training, these volunteers embody the spirit of service that makes our organization thrive. Their commitment ensures that every cat receives the love, attention, and support they deserve while waiting for their forever home.

We are thrilled to see their efforts recognized at this special event, where the Mayor and community come together to celebrate the people who make a lasting impact. Thank you, Linda, Peter, Derek, Andrew, and Selena, for inspiring us all and helping create a better future for animals in the Bow Valley.
