Canmore Collegiate High School Leadership Class Gets Involved
Thu, 30 Jun 2016

May 18, Canmore Collegiate High School Leadership Class, accompanied by their teacher Sabrina Grecu visited the Bow Valley SPCA. Students learned of each resident animals story, their journey to our facility. The students engaged in Level one training of the dogs, treating under the door of the dog’s cabin. These treats are for good behavior (anything from four on the floor to sitting, just not barking). Students played and met the cats in their chalets. After discussing and learning the importance of Spay and Neuter on return to the classroom the students choose to create posters for educating the public on Spay and Neuter. These posters will be displayed at schools and BVSPCA.
