Cat Nip--A Love Story

Kat, a seven year old female at the Bow Valley SPCA, loves cat nip and like many cats seems to find rolling around on it to be irresistible. The video shows how much she loves it. What you cannot see is the love that goes into creating this experience.
Staff members and volunteers grow it in their gardens, then harvest it, then dry and crush it, and finally package it, so Kat and others can have her moments of pleasure.
It may seem obvious, but while we change the lives of the cats (and dogs) at our adoption centre, they change the lives of the people who care for them, let alone the families that adopt them.
Who ever thought cat nip could be a symbol for love?
