Cedar Joins the Girls Club

Cedar an eight year old German Shepherd, joins the Girls Club at Banff Elementary School.    Cedar's pet companion, Lauren,  adopted Cedar after working with her on her arrival at BVSPCA.   Lauren and Cedar are part of the Education Committee and visit schools educating students on Pet Responsibility and Kindness. Learning of  Cedar's  journey to BVSPCA, the Grade 6  students are inspired to have  more visits from BVSPCA  Education Committee.  Their goal is to  learn  about the  shelter,  become Junior Ambassadors and share their knowledge with younger students.
 
Before Christmas the  Girls raised funds by Painting Nails for teachers and chose to donate funds to   the Bow Valley SPCA.  Educators Roberta, Lauren and Cedar received the generous donation today.  Thanks to the Girls Club.
