Celebrating Our Volunteers!

This past Sunday, the Bow Valley community came together in the best possible way: with delicious pancakes, lively music, and an incredible turnout of local volunteers who continue to make this region shine!

The Pancake Breakfast & Volunteer Fair was a joyful kickoff to National Volunteer Week, hosted by The Town of Canmore FCSS, Volunteer Alberta, and the Bow Valley SPCA, alongside partner organizations from across the valley. From long‑time volunteers to first‑time visitors looking for inspiration, the room was buzzing with connection and community spirit.

The pancakes were seriously delicious, the local prizes were a huge hit, and the energy was nothing short of inspiring. It was wonderful to see so many dedicated volunteers gathered in one place sharing stories, discovering new opportunities, and celebrating the impact they each make every day!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped ignite the spark of service across the Bow Valley. We were so happy to see familiar faces: Peter, Vikki, and Dawn who ran our volunteer fair booth and represented BVSPCA volunteerism so very well! We got to celebrate with Volunteer coordinator Mary and her husband George, Deb P. and Ocean, Sandy, Lloyd, and many more of our valued volunteers throughout the morning. 🧡
