Education Outreach--Grade 6 Girls Club Goes On Air

On May 3rd, Marcus Williams of Mountain FM welcomed the Grade 6 Girls Club from Banff Elementary school to present TipsNTales, a weekly program presented by the Bow Valley SPCA to help pet owners.  This is a component of Bow Valley SPCA's education program. Instead of our Adoption Centre Manager presenting the segment, these Junior Ambassadors gathered at the radio station and made the presentation. 

These young girls have been mentored by Bow Valley SPCA educators covering many topics regarding responsible pet ownership and how dogs communicate with people. They chose to talk about dog communication and the topic they presented was Ten Things About Humans That Annoy Dogs.
