Francophone School, Ecole Notre Dame , Grade 10 Students Visit the Bow Valley SPCA

May 2, Francophone School, Ecole Notre Dame , Grade 10 Students, with their teacher, Jennifer Lissey, visited BVSPCA. This tour was to educate the students of our Mission and discuss a project to help educate the public in French.
Learning that each resident animal is treated as an individual; students learned the Five Freedoms, every animal deserves. Students met the animals and learned each animal's journey prior to arriving at BVSPCA and how volunteers work with each animal to build trust and give each animal individual attention.
Educators Roberta Richardson, Pam Doyle and Creed were presented on May 30 with posters the students created in French to add to BVSPCA, Education Program.
Students were thrilled to have Creed in the classroom where he managed to find every ball in the room.
BVSPCA hopes to collaborate in the fall and have more of our Education Components available in French.
