Girls Club Grade 7--2017 Mentoring Program with Bow Valley SPCA

The Girls Club, Grade 7, is now in their new School at the Banff Elementary Middle School.  The group met on Thursday Oct 19th.

Joanne McGilvray, Educator with Bow Valley SPCA introduced  the girl's to Cat Physiology and explored  the emotions  and  challenges resident cats face from the time they are surrendered to time of adoption.  Working for shelters in Burnaby, Richmond and Surrey B.C., Joanne looks forward to sharing her knowledge and experiences teaching Cat Sense, Junior Edition to the Club, a program created for Shelter Cats.
