Jessi Goes A Visitin'

Jessi a 6 yr old female, collie mix resident dog at BVSPCA, visited Residents at Origin Spring Creek in Canmore. She visited the residents of Morning Star house, whom experience various degrees of dementia. She was accompanied by two volunteers of Bow Valley SPCA. Jessi was calm, while residents interacted by asking her to sit and then treating her for good behavior. Jessi walked with one of the residents who used a cane; Jessi sensed he was somewhat frail and waited for him when he stopped she then continued walking from his cue. It was a calming and fun morning for all involved, Jessi offering unconditional love and the residents helping her to be social.
