Lawrence Grassi Middle School tours Bow Valley SPCA for We Day/ A Movement to change the world

Nov 24, 2016 Lawrence Grassi Middle School chose Bow Valley SPCA to participate in We Day, an international movement empowering students to make positive social changes in the world.

Students learned the importance of safely approaching animals and participated in Level 1 Open Paws Training Program focusing on Positive Association and Reward Training.  Students were introduced to the dogs, played with the cats and learned the journey of how resident animal’s came to BVSPCA.  

 Demonstrating respect; caring and love; these young Stewards will teach others Pet Responsibility, Humane Treatment and Kindness.   They become a voice for animals globally.
