Matchmaking at the Bow Valley SPCA

Missy was surrendered to the Bow Valley SPCA about a month ago. Her owner had passed away and the family didn’t want her. She is a lovely long haired cat about 5 yrs old. Her colors look just like a cappuccino! She has a very sweet, gentle, and soft personality. We were given a connection (via a friend of the Bow Valley SPCA) to a gentleman who wanted to adopt a cat for his sister, whose cat had just passed away. He was going to visit her over Easter and wanted to bring her a new kitty companion.

He came to visit the cats a couple of times before we decided that Missy was the perfect fit because she had just lost her owner, and this woman had just lost her cat.  They were meant for each other! Missy’s new “mom” gave her approval by phone and off they went to SK. He reports that Missy didn’t make a peep during the long drive, just curled up in her kennel and went to sleep.
