Mark your calendars! On July 26th, we are thrilled to be hosting our first ever Paws & Prints Summer Market! Join us for an afternoon filled with shopping from local vendors with handmade products; games and prizes; a photo booth; kid's corner; and community connection!

In addition to great personal shopping there will be:

Pet Commissions
- Bring your photos of beloved pet(s) or your pet(s) themselves for personalized commissions!
- Many of our vendors will be offering pet products and commissions! This means you could get your very own portrait or even a crocheted teddy bear of your pet, or gift for someone you know!
- Ever wanted a keepsake pawprint of your pet? Stop by Of Cabbages and Kings pawprint impression booth.
- Note: please ensure pets are on leash when visiting the market.
Contests & Prizes
- Guess the number of dog biscuits for your chance to win a $25 gift card for a handcrafted dog bed by WOOLgathering!
- Head over to our photo booth and enter the contest to win a "Wandering Tails" package (value of $395) by professional pet photographer Melissa Pohl!
- Got a great pet name idea? Why not enter it in our name suggestion jar?
Kid's Corner
- In addition to a kid's coloring contest with prizes from Catarina Toffee, there will be fun kids activities including a bean bag toss and a pet-themed twist on i-Spy.
Shed Shop
- Our homegrown second hand pet supply store will be open for you to do some extra shopping and find great deals on new and lightly used pet supplies.
BVSPCA Merch & Prints
- Get your very own BVSPCA sticker: an artistic rendition of our dog and cat residents.
- Shop our Pawfessionally Done limited edition paintings by our very own dogs and cats! Limited quantities available.
Cat Cuddling
- Need a break from shopping? Head inside the Adoption Centre and get some cat cuddles in for that bit of RnR! Who knows, you may find a new best friend.

*Please note there will be no parking at the Centre. Street parking will be limited. Please obey all signs. Bus stop available on Elk Run Blvd (approx. 5 min walk to the Centre).
