Pink's 10,000 Mile Journey

Ever wonder what a 10,000 mile journey might feel like to a dog? Pink left Mai Khao, Phuket, Thailand on Friday and arrived in Calgary on Sunday, after a stop over in Vancouver. She was sent to us from Soi Dog Rescue in Thailand. We were amazed at her calm behaviour. The pictures start with the Westjet cargo terminal where we picked her up and proceed to the Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre where she was let out of her crate and welcomed by staff and volunteers, and finally fitted with a harness. During the entire time she was at the terminal and in the vehicle coming to Canmore, she never made a sound. We are sure she was scared/anxious/nervous, but she is also very brave. With the help of BVSPCA supporters we can continue to do this kind of work. Click here to make a donation.
