Portraits of Love 2026 🧡

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the BVSPCA is offering portraits of your four-legged loved ones! For $25, you will receive an artist’s rendering of your furry valentine.

But here's the catch - there are only three professional/semi-professional artists (Ann Fu, Harley Howland, and Madeline Agnew). The remaining entrants' portraits will be supplemented by a fine group of dedicated volunteers with a lot of heart, but potentially questionable artistic talent. You may get a beautiful pet portrait from a skilled local artist, or you may get... something else!

Either way, it will be a portrait made with love 🧡

Tickets will be on sale until Saturday, January 31st at 12:00PM.

Once you have purchased a ticket, please email a photo of your pet, your pet's name, and your first and last name to events@bowvalleyspca.org. Please use the subject line "Portraits of Love" for your email.

On Saturday, January 31st, we will select the names for whose photos will be transformed into a professional pet portrait, and who will receive a volunteer-created interpretation. Once our artists (with and without artistic talent) complete their masterpieces, they will be uploaded on February 14th to the online gallery on our website. If you would like a physical copy of your pet portrait, please request in your email and we will arrange for pickup in the weeks following.

Note that those receiving portraits from the professional artists will automatically be contacted to arrange pickup of the original art.
