Remembrance of Felicity Edwards

Wed, 14 Feb 2018

An intimate, informal remembrance of Felicity Edwards’ life will be held in Canmore on March 3rd. We anticipate a celebration worthy of the extraordinary individual we all knew her to be.
Friends, neighbours, colleagues and family will convene at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club to share food, drink, music, conversation, and memories. The doors open at 1:15 pm, with the program beginning at 2:00 pm. The celebration will end by 4:30 pm.
Put on your best casual (Felicity liked “Mountain Spiffy”) and bring yourselves, your memories of all things Felicity, and cash for libations.
There will be a Book of Memories for those present to sign and add comments, to be shared with Felicity’s family in Europe.
A Request:
Felicity had many circles of friends through her wide-ranging interests, jobs, contracts, projects and travels. We ask for your help to let those who knew Felicity well, and were touched and mentored by her, know of this celebration. Accordingly, please share this invitation with individuals who were close friends or colleagues. The event we are planning is not a normal public service. Nor is it strictly a private event. In keeping with our sense of her, our intention is to gather Felicity’s extended “family.”
Other Information:
• For information on lodgings in Canmore for out-of-town guests, contact the Canmore Hotel and Lodging Association
• If you wish to make a donation in Felicity’s memory, please do so to: Doctors without Borders – Médecins Sans Frontières, the Bow Valley SPCA in Canmore, or a charity of your choice.
• Finally, if you haven’t yet had a chance to read the wonderful obituary written for Felicity, you can find it on the Bow River Funeral Services web site.
Thank you, and we hope to see you March 3rd in Canmore.
