Our residents put their most adoptable paw forward!

A tail‑wagging good time was had by all attending our very first Pet Valu Canmore National Adoption Day event. Adoptable superstars Boris, Cupid, Floyd, and Juniper charmed shoppers and community members alike, making quite the impression and even inspiring a handful of adoption applications along the way!

We were honoured to be invited to the brand‑new Pet Valu Canmore location in the Gateway at Three Sisters Saturday, February 21st. The day offered a wonderful chance to build lasting community connections, introduce some of our sweetest residents to a wider circle of potential adopters, and shine a spotlight on a fantastic new local business eager to support the BVSPCA in our mission to shelter, care for, and re‑home stray, surrendered, and abandoned animals while promoting humane attitudes and responsible pet companionship.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the dedicated volunteers who made it possible for our Shelter animals to attend, and to Pet Valu Canmore for their ongoing support of the Bow Valley SPCA. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
