As we approach the New Year, it's time for our annual fundraising campaign at the Bow Valley SPCA. This year, we invite you to help us Unwrap Their Second Chance. Our goal for this year is to raise $100,000 by the end of 2025. It’s a lofty goal. But you should know that every dollar we raise goes directly towards caring for stray, surrendered, and abandoned dogs and cats, providing medical treatment and rehabilitation where required, and, most importantly, providing loving, individualized care until they finally get to go to their forever home.

Here at the Bow Valley SPCA, we know we can’t change the world. But we can provide a second chance to every cat and dog who comes into our care. We are a no cage, no kill Adoption Centre and we were the first in Canada to take on that philosophy. We truly believe in the power of positivity that animals bring to our lives, which is why we are on a mission to make a difference, change lives, and adopt love.

With your help, we can continue to connect rescued dogs and cats with their forever families.

At the end of the day, we’re all here because we care. We care about animals, we care about the joy they bring into our lives, and we care about the community. We know you care too! That’s why we’re asking everyone to come together and change the world for one animal at a time.
