About Ariel

We are pleased to announce that Ariel was adopted on Oct. 14, 2022
Hello. My name is Ariel! I am the mother of a few kittens that were at the Centre, who found forever homes long ago. I am a very sweet lady who just needs some cuddles and love. When I first arrived I was diagnosed with FELV (along with most of my kittens). I was symptomatic for a while, but unexpectedly I started to get better, gaining weight and getting more alert. I was retested recently, and turns out I beat all the odds and am a survivor - I tested negative! This was the most wonderful surprise for the staff to hear that I am healthy and happy, and that my body was able to fight off the virus. I've been given a second chance at life, now I just need a second chance for a great forever home! I've been at the shelter for quite some time, and the shelter staff have all grown very fond of my snuggly personality and playful side. I can occupy myself batting around a toy for hours, and after playtime I am happy to snooze away the afternoon. I really enjoy giving hugs, and if you pick me up I'll be sure to put my arms around your neck and nuzzle into your face. I'm told that my hugs are just the best! If you're looking for an absolute sweetheart of a cat, who is both cuddly and quirky, look no further!
