Hi, I'm Dora, a gorgeous torbie gal with a soft, dreamy coat and a quiet presence. I'm still taking my time to understand this new world around me, but I'm slowly finding my bravery and will lean into a gentle chin scratch when the mood strikes me. I'm a little extra special due to my genetic mutation, I'm polydactyl and have extra toes on each of my four paws!

I arrived here with a group of feline friends, and we've had limited socialization with people. I often feel safest watching from a cozy hiding spot, taking in the sounds and movements of the people around me, but have been slowly gaining confidence when the shelter is quiet and around people that I know and trust!

I'm not ready for big leaps just yet, but I'm hopeful that with the right person, I'll find the confidence to take small steps forward. I think beneath my timid exterior is a secret playful kitten side just waiting to blossom! Will you be the one to take a chance on me?
