Hi, I'm a pretty special guy, and not just because of my handsome calico coat, but because I'm a male calico! Male calico cats are incredibly rare (I'm like a unicorn!), making me one in a few thousand. While my unique colouring might catch your eye, my journey is what truly makes me special. I've spent much of my life relying on my own instincts, so people can still seem a little scary to me. When I was first rescued, I had a fishhook stuck in my mouth, so I haven't had an easy life so far. Right now, I'm quite nervous and prefer to keep my distance while I observe the world from a safe spot.

What I need is someone who can see beyond who I am today and imagine who I might become in the future. Building trust with me won't happen overnight, it will take patience, understanding, and a willingness to let me progress at my own pace. The good news is that every small step forward is meaningful, and with the right environment, I have all the potential to become a loyal and trusted companion. With a trusted few, I've warmed up to pets, it just takes time to earn my trust. If you're the kind of person who celebrates quiet victories and understands that the best relationships are sometimes the ones earned over time, I just might be the unicorn-cat for you.
