We are pleased to announce that Scout was adopted on Dec. 23, 2021

Christmas came early for Scout, who got to go to her forever home with her best buddy Pat! Pat and Scout came from a terrible hoarding situation, and when Scout arrived to us, she was very timid and hid for days on end. When she went into a foster home with Pat, that all changed, and she discovered her brave side. Now in their forever home, we know they will only continue to progress further. We're so happy for these two and their rags to riches story!

My name is Scout! A couple of my buddies and I arrived at the SPCA from a hoarding situation. It has been a rough go, but we are starting to settle. I will need a quiet home with loving companions. I am in a foster home with my buddy Pat, and we would love to find a home together. I need love and affection!

Here's what my foster family has to say about me: Scout is a pretty girl who likes to keep herself busy during the day. In the evening you might find her having a nap in her bed by the fire. She even sits on our laps in the evening. Lover of cozy fireplaces, food, and a good butt scratch. VERY talkative. Scout and Pat will need some time to acclimate to a new environment and people, but with patience they come around quite quickly.
