Duke

Hello, the name's Duke! I'm a big handsome gentleman on the hunt for a great new home to call my own. The people around here say I am the size of a small horse. I was surrendered because I have a tendency to chase livestock animals, but otherwise they had nothing but great things to say about me! I would love somewhere with a secure outdoor place to kick back and relax as I love my outdoor time. I am a massive guy, but don't let my size intimidate you, because I'm really a gentle giant. I'm very treat motivated, and while I can be a bit of a selective listener, if you've got a tasty snack for me I'll usually listen. I've had doggy friends in the past, and while I do have a tendency to chase kitties, if they are able to stand their ground I won't bother them too much. I am a powerhouse of a dog though, so my new owner will need to be strong enough to manage me so that if I do see something I want to chase on leash, I won't take them with me! I can't wait to find some great people to give me lots of love, playtime (I'm a big goofball when I play), and have the time to polish some training so that I can be the perfect gentleman that I am!
