Gala

Hey there, I'm Gala! People have described me as being one of the sweetest girls they've ever met, and I'd have to agree with them! I am an absolute suck and adore receiving affection and love from humans. I'll lay in your lap and have you rub my belly for hours. I like to wander, so I'm looking for a forever home who understands my needs and is able to accommodate them to keep me safe at home. I won't be the type of dog to go on big hikes with you; hanging out in the backyard or going on scenic walks is more my speed! I had a prior eye injury that didn't heal quite right and was causing me some discomfort. The vets decided that it needed to come out, so I only have one eye now, but I'm feeling way better for it! I can be choosy about my dog friends, but generally if they ignore me then I will ignore them, and with proper introductions can be friends. Turns out I'm great with cats and don't bother them at all! I am a gentle and well mannered girl and am happy to relax indoors, but if you do leave me home alone, I'd love a kong toy or other brain game to keep me busy while you're away. I am so gentle that I don't even rip up stuffies or blankets though, so I am a very polite house guest! Come down and meet me to see how sweet and loving I am!
