Matilda

My name is Matilda and I have a heart of gold and an athletic ability that will challenge any Canmorite! I will need to find a home with someone who has lot of dog experience. I was attacked by a dog when I was younger and now I am quite reactive around other dogs. I would love to go to an area that is removed from dense urban settings and I would love a yard to call my own, since dog parks won't be for me! Some of my favorite hobbies include bounding through snow, chasing toys, hugs from humans, belly rubs and meditating in nature. I love getting out into the quiet areas and watching the birds! I would appreciate a companion who understands my needs and is willing to help me feel more comfortable. This might mean walking on less-frequented paths and finding hikes that are less traveled by other canines. I have lots of people that love me at the SPCA and are more than willing to give you some tips for helping me settle. I can promise you I will be the best cuddle buddy and playmate a human could ask for!
