Hi! My name is Tucker and I would love to be a part of your family!
Me and a few of my canine pals had a painful run-in with a porcupine (ouch) so, when I arrived at the BVSPCA, I was understandably frightened and uncertain. But gentle words, lots of treats (as I am quite food motivated) and an outpouring of love are helping me come out of my shell a little more each day.
I'm a shy guy, but the staff at the BVSPCA say I am just the sweetest and gentlest boy you will ever meet. And did I mention that I love being petted soooo much? In fact, I love snuggling up with the people that I trust, and I think I fit just about perfectly in a lap (even if a bit of me spills over the sides).
Since my previous life involved canine pals, I think I would be able to live quite happily with another dog friend, with the right introductions of course. In fact, a confident buddy may be just what I need to help me feel braver. Because I am timid, I think I would love a family with children 6+.
I'm working on building confidence and trust, so your understanding, patience and consistency will help me become the most amazing and loyal family addition. If I sound like a fit for you, come meet me today!
