Hey there, I'm Wooly! I was found in horrible shape in California by a very kind gentleman. He found me laying in a ditch in the blistering California heat, covered from head to toe in heavy, matted fur. I didn't even look like a dog - all you could see of me was a ball of filthy fur. Thank goodness I was found, I don't think I would have survived much longer out there. He has been taking care of me, and getting me all fixed up, and boy am I feeling better! I'm a real cool little dude, and now that I'm feeling better, I'm ready to find my forever home. I can be shy of my neck and eyes being touched, likely because there was so much painful matting around my face which had caused an eye infection. Even though its all cleared up, I might be sensitive of certain areas being touched for now. I'll need someone with the patience to get to know me, but once you do I am a lovely little dog! I've got lots of energy and spunk, but a real cuddly side too with people I trust. I've come a long way to be here, but now I'm really ready to find a great forever home that will take care of me and spoil me!
