Making a Difference Beyond our Doors

BVSPCA Volunteers lent a helping paw at Food & Friends!

The Bow Valley SPCA was honoured to be invited back to support local community dinner program, Canmore Food & Friends, on Monday, September 21st.

We always have a tail-wagging great time lending a paw at this wonderful initiative, which brings people together over good food, friendship, and a shared sense of community. Our incredible volunteers are more than just animal lovers, they're community builders! They’re always eager to roll up their sleeves and make a difference wherever it's needed.

We are so grateful to our dedicated volunteers for generously sharing their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support this meaningful program.

Opportunities like these allow the BVSPCA to connect with our neighbours, strengthen our community partnerships, and give back to the people who help make our work making a difference and changing lives for stray, surrendered, and abandoned dogs and cats possible.

It was a fantastic evening filled with smiles, teamwork, and plenty of heart, and we're thankful to Food & Friends for welcoming us once again. We look forward to continuing to support the caring, connected community that makes the Bow Valley such a special place to call home for all its people and furry residents!
