National Volunteer Week 2022

We celebrate our amazing and dedicated volunteers every day of the year, but during National Volunteer Week (NVW), which was April 24th-30th, we had an extra opportunity to show our gratitude!

Volunteers have been the cornerstone of our organization since it's inception, and we value the many members of our community who dedicate time and resources to assist us with endless facets of our operation. This year's National Volunteer Week theme was "Empathy in Action," and our volunteers exemplify this sentiment with the compassion they show our furry residents, and their passion.

Each day of the week during NVW, we put the spotlight on a few of our incredible volunteers, to hear about their experiences and highlights, to be featured on our social media platforms. We have over 200 amazing volunteers to celebrate, so those spotlights represent a much larger group of phenomenal individuals who are all integral to our operation in their own unique way!
