About Dixie
We are pleased to announce that Dixie was adopted on Oct. 21, 2026
Hi, I'm Dixie-doo! I'm a happy-go-lucky cowgirl who's always ready to be part of the action. Whether we're exploring outside, learning new tricks, playing with toys, or tagging along on whatever you're doing, I want a front-row seat! Life is just too exciting to sit on the sidelines.
One of my special talents is my incredible nose. I love sniffing out interesting scents and investigating the world around me. I've got all the makings of a future scent-tracking superstar, and I'd have a blast playing nose-work games or learning fun activities that let me put my sniffing skills to work. Even though I'm full of spunk, don't worry, I've got a sweet-as-sugar side too. After a busy day of adventures, I'm more than happy to cash in my cowgirl boots for some cozy snuggles. I'm affectionate, eager to please, and always ready to make new friends.
Since I'm still a young pup, I've got lots left to learn about living in a home and being the very best canine citizen I can be. I'll need a family who's excited to teach me the ropes, help me build my confidence, and show me all the wonderful things the world has to offer. I'm smart, enthusiastic, and ready for the challenge! So, if you're looking for a puppy whose equal parts wild-west adventurer, expert cuddler, and hilarious sidekick, I just might be your girl. Saddle up and come meet me!
Dog-friendly: Yes, I have lived with other dogs before! I must be separated from other dogs around food/high value treats.
Cat-friendly: Untested, likely yes with training and gradual introductions.
Kid-friendly: Yes.
Do I Need Special Care?: No
