Hey, I'm Ginny! I'm a happy-go-lucky, sweet-as-can-be, playful young dog who is officially on the hunt for a loving home to call my own. I was found outside by myself, and brought in by some kind folks that were worried about my safety. When I arrived I was cold and very timid, but after getting warm, some good food, and lots of belly rubs, I quickly blossomed into a silly and rambunctious pup! Not much is known about my history, but I didn't know much about the great wide world when I arrived here, so I'm still learning basic training and obedience which will need to be continued in my forever home. I'm very bouncy and excitable, but quick to learn if there's tasty snacks involved, and I already learned not to soil my room here at the shelter. There's nothing I love more in this world than snacks - except maybe snuggles! Can't I have both?! I'm young and adaptable, but introductions to other animals and new experiences should be done slowly at first. But there isn't a person I've met that I don't instantly love! I don't think I've taken many car rides, so they make me a little nervous, but I'm learning that the car goes fun places so it's not so bad. It's uncertain if I've lived in a house before, so I might need some guidance when it comes to home-life (for example, that pillows aren't just big dog toys, and that human food is for the humans). My leash walking skills are improving every day, but I find all the sights, sounds, and smells of the great wide world a little scary, so I'd like to go slow and walk in quieter places while I build up my confidence. I'm a gentle and loving girl, and right in your lap is my preferred place to be! I think I'd make the perfect mountain adventure buddy, so get in touch if you want to be my new bestie!
