About Jimmy

We are pleased to announce that Jimmy was adopted on Oct. 27, 2023
Hey, I'm Jimmy and I'm part of the "Old Timers" litter, each an old-timey name but a young heart. We may be distinguished young ladies and gentlemen, but don't think that we're uptight, in fact we're the life of the party! Our mom was brought to the BVSPCA as a stray, and it's a good thing, because she was pregnant with all of us! There's 8 of us in total, and we're all going to be looking for fantastic homes once we're big enough to leave mom, and ready to start our adventures out in the great big world. The nice thing about adopting a puppy is that everything is new to us, and so we will adapt easily into any kind of household you've got - as long as it's got lots of love that is! However, although we are cute and little now, we are estimated to grow into medium-large to large adult dogs (just check out how huge our paws are!) and so it's important to teach us manners and routines while we're still young to set us up for success as we grow. Enrolling us in dog training classes would be a great idea to get our lives together started on the right paw. The staff aren't sure what our breed mixes are, although our mom looks to be a Border Collie/Heeler mix, and they suspect dad had some German Shepherd or Rottweiler in him based on our colourings and coat type. But it's anyone's guess really! We're so much fun and can't wait to grow old together in great new forever homes!
