About Electra
We are pleased to announce that Electra was adopted on Sept. 24, 2024
Hi there, I'm Electra! I once was a very tiny, emaciated kitten found stray by some very nice people. They were unable to keep me, so I came to the BVSPCA to get back on track. Since then, I've been enjoying the warmth, safety and companionship in a loving foster home, where I've been fattening up and learning how to be a kitten. I love running around, playing, climbing and exploring the world! Cuddles and naptime are pretty good too, once I've burned off all my kitten energy. I'm really an electric girl, who will light up your world. Now that I'm big and strong and able to run with the big kitties, I'm excited to meet my new family!
Dog-friendly: Untested, likely yes
Cat-friendly: Yes
Kid-friendly: Yes
Do I Need Special Care?: No. Preliminary test results were faintly positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), however retest results were antigen-negative, which means I have a regressive/transient form of the FeLV infection. Regressive FeLV cats are not infectious to other cats, except through blood transfusion, so I can safely live with other feline friends. As I have the regressive form, this means that I should live a normal lifespan and am unlikely to need additional supportive care throughout my life. If you'd like more information about FeLV, talk with our knowledgeable staff!
Interested?! Please fill out our adoption application and submit to adopt@bowvalleyspca.org. Upon approval you will be contacted to arrange an appointment time with our foster home!
